Selling salads is no joke. Like any industry, with so many competitors in the market, you have to innovate and do things to stand out. Fighting against the sweetgreen behemoth and upcoming challenges in Mixt, Tender Greens and Fresh & Co., Chop’t has introduced a shrimp salad to their offerings.
It’s not just any old shrimp either. Like Luke’s Lobster, the company is leveraging their proximity to New England to bring in their shrimp from Cape Code, Massachusetts.
Shrimp isn’t something new to the fast-casual scene, but the way that the Chop’t team created their ad announcing the new menu item. It’s certainly an enticing looking shrimp salad. We’ll see how it plays out for the chopped salad joint.
