The 2015 NBA All-Star All-Style Fashion Show moved NBA and the fashion world closer to one another

The 2015 All-Star weekend included a very special treat – one that had been unheard of until then. NBA All-Star All-Style, the first ever NBA fashion show, aired during the NBA’s star-studded, celebrity-filled All-Star weekend. Whereas the Slam Dunk Contest and All-Star Game are the main events, the All-Star fashion show also served as a competition for various styles.

NBA All-Star All-Style was hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Hart, and produced by LeBron James. The panel of judges – including NBA veterans Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith, GQ Style Editor Will Welch, designer John Elliott and WNBA player Elena Delle Donne – voted on three rounds of fashion for boardroom outfits, game attire, and a night out on the town.

As you can see from some of the photos (Thanks Complex) the NBA was well-represented with DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson, Zach Lavine, J.R. Smith, James Harden,Chandler Parsons and Jeff Teague all showing off their styles — from street to chic.

And that’s not all. There were Victoria’s Secret Angels galore walking down the runway: Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, and Rachel Hilbert, to name a few. And walking alongside these models were NBA players — the connection between the NBA and the fashion world taking that next step.
